The ID settings window lets you define the following things.

_________________________________________________________________________

TITLE / AUTHOR
_________________________________________________________________________

Click the buttons marked Title and Author at the top of the window to edit the appropriate text. These lines are shown on screen as Ducks loads, and in the EGG Selector utility.

_________________________________________________________________________

EPISODES
_________________________________________________________________________

Each episode has a name, start value and end value. Episode names appear in the bouncy menu system and therefore must be all in uppercase (there are no lowercase letters in the font used).

The start and end values are the first and last levels playable within the episode. For example, if there are 3 episodes with 10 levels each, the values should be 1 to 10 (episode 1), 11 to 20 (episode 2) and 21 to 30 (episode 3).

It is not recommended that you overlap episodes or leave gaps between them - unless you want to worry people playing your levels.

_________________________________________________________________________

NUMBER OF SHAREWARE LEVELS
_________________________________________________________________________

Click this button to change the number of levels playable by people with unregistered copies of Ducks. 0 means the entire game is for registered users only.

_________________________________________________________________________

READ ME! FILES
_________________________________________________________________________

These are the headings and page numbers of your in-game help files, if you wish to include any. Start and end values are the first and last slice numbers - for example, if you want a section called "MY LEVELS" with 2 pages, use page numbers 1 to 2, 10 to 11, 100 to 101 or something similar. Make sure you include "Read Me! document" slices with the appropriate numbers.

ADVANCED SETTINGS
_________________________________________________________________________

Press the "Advanced" button to change the file type, compatibility settings, number of rolling demos and barcode for your file. There's another help file on the options in this window.
